Has Brad Lidge ever performed on the big stage. I can't believe Philly gave him all that money.

he cries himself to sleep with his stacks of bills

Well now we have to win on the road

I think we can take 1 of 4 on the road and win all 3 at home.

HAHAHAHAHA....Let's get in the playoffs first.

Thanks for nothing Lidge.

Cubs pitching was outstanding.

YAY Cubs (other than Soto and Fukudome), Matt Holliday, Aaron Cook, Miguel Tejada, & Nate McClouth.

So we have to beat the crap out of an AL team on their field to win the World Series. No biggie.

Since the NL cannot beat the AL, can we please stop playing the ASG in the middle of the game, and let ALL of the players have a four day break.

Credit for the loss split between:

- A Reds starter

- A Mets reliever

- A Marlins second baseman

- A Brewers outfielder

Yeah...

yes they must be irate with his 1.13 ERA, 20 saves and 0 blown saves.

Lidge of 2008=Gagne of 2005 (remember the AS Game was in The Cell)?

And we were so close to a tie to end this home field advantage madness once and for all... Now Selig will claim success and ignore the question of what he would have done in the result of a tie.

2005 NLCS, 2005 WS, 19-27 saves in 2007. As Gagne and others have shown, spending that much money on closers is stupid.

Thank you.

My point is...Gagne was hot as a closer, only to give up a game winning HR to Garrett Anderson, and will it's not a HR, Lidge, who is hot as closer, blows the game for the NL.
