Bud really needs to consider letting players re-enter the game in situations like this.

 

If the game really means so much (HFA), you need to do something.

 

Can't really re-enter pitchers though... It'll be so much more dangerous having them get warm, pitch, cool off, get warm again, then pitch again.

 

Expand the pitching roster and let position players re-enter - that's what I originally meant by letting guys re-enter the game.

 

My ASG "fix it" suggestions.

You can't reward Francona with a tie after he threw al his pitcher for 1 inning early.

what happens if the AL scores two runs in the top of the inning but then kazmir hits his pitch count in the bottom and francona takes him out? Does the AL forfeit due to not have anyone pitch or does selig give them the win without giving the NL a chance to finish the bottom of the 16th??
