if i were a mediocre player, i'd just try to get a one year deal out of the cardinals. i'd have a really good year, in the process fooling some some sorry GM into giving me a big contract. i'd then go back to being completely mediocre.

 

this won't work quite as well as it did when bill bavasi was a GM, but there are still enough morons out there.
