I had pitch by pitch on my phone all night and got a definite sense of doom when I saw Ludwick pinch hitting. I feel like that ex-scrub is going to kill us one of these times - glad it wasn't tonight.

I did however see enough of the early going of the game to hear Len mentioning TLR's comments. I sometimes forget how truly hateable that guy is. What a jackass.

All Edmonds was saying was that he was a Cub, and no longer a Card. There was no hidden message, don't jab at the Cards. Edmonds has gotten tired about the media keep talking about his Cards days. TLR is a paranoid freak, and I am glad he will never manage the Cubs.

Nice to see the Cubs' opposition burned by some questionable strike calls especially when that opposition is the Cardinals. Also Kerry Wood rendered Pujols 300th HR one of the most meaningless 300th HR's in history - sweet.

 

FYI, Howry gave up the homer not Kerry. :)
