There's a poss. that he'll be in the majors by Sept., but TB is pretty conservative as far as promoting players (espec. pitchers) although they haven't really had an elite arm come from college.

speaking of guys too good for the level they're playing at, why is matt wieters still in the carolina league? he's hitting .342/.445/.560/1.005. time for him to go beat up on the easter league, orioles. i guess they might keep him in the minors for 2 years, decline ramon hernandez' 2010 option, and go into that season with wieters as their starter.

I know. Worse than Braun. But, he can still work on defense at AAA if they really wanted him up at there.

I cannot wait till David Price makes his Montgomery Biscuits home debut. His first start for the Biscuits (Homer drooling, Biss.......cuits...shakes out of it) is on the road. When he makes his home debut, I am going to watch him, and take my camera.

I wish we had a couple of bats (outside of Soto) who could rake but had trouble fielding. Its not like they can't become AL trade bait.
