If we get just take care of the games we should win and then win our first 5 tournament games we'll be set for a national title game.

 

I say this because if we do we'll be set to play for a championship, so stop having an inferiority complex.

Thought it was over when Purdue got down by 5 but big threes late brought us back. It was a very much needed win. One game out of first. If we can take care of the definite should wins and get back at Illinois on the road we will be 10-2 heading into a home game against MSU.

 

Good luck winning at Illinois.......that is unless we go into the "I'm pretty sure we're going to win but let's see how close we can make it" offense at the end of the game with a lead. UI almost gave the game against Wisky back because of it.

 

Wow after beating us in overtime you seem a little confident? Purdue has won there last 3 away games....Any who I'll be there to cheer on my Boilermakers and see another big win on the road...Hopefully haha

 

i think it was your objective journalist friend who was the one being a little overconfident. illinois at c-u is likely to be a much tougher game tham msu at purdue, so i have no idea why he chose to leap over the illini.

 

Because MSU is in first so if Purdue gets that game without losing that can take first place. Inferiority complex or just over reaction?

 

purdue is the team that hasn't been to a final four in forever, why on earth would anyone feel inferior to a purdue fan? but, that's some hard-hitting investigative journalism, right there.

 

That's how it came off. There was no reason to make it about Illinois but you did.

 

And yes Purdue hasn't been to the Final Four in a very long time which has always bugged me but they do have the most Big Ten titles.

if anything, the comment exhibited an inferiority complex toward msu, which exists because msu is superior to the illini.

 

purdue is not.

apparently mike patrick has never seen a guy execute a reverse dunk; he just about crapped himself when henderson just did it.

 

Better than Doris Burke who'd never heard an air-ball chant.

That dunk by number 1 on Wake in the first half was incredible, but I'd wager that Henderson gets number one billing on top plays.

Wake's making some horrible decisions with these quick possessions. I complained earlier about Weber running the clock down to 10 before running a play, but Wake is chucking with 25 seconds left.

 

And lol at them showing the replay of Henderson flat out pushing down the wake defender, and Vitale ignoring it.

 

Oh it's ok, Mike Patrick said Teague flopped.

I hate Greg Paulus, Mike Patrick, Dick Vitale, and Kyle Singler.

Shout out to Gatorade for giving its national player of the year to Greg Paulus his senior year. He definately should have won it over Dwight Howard. It was a good piece of scouting to know how just how good Paulus would become.
