Anyone get the feeling that Fukudome didn't much care for Saito?

Soto needs to adjust to the breaking pitches, and quick.

Lee has look lost up there for the better part of a month.

Dempster is really impressive (at least for the first 5 innings). Who would have thought that he'd do this well?

Juan Pierre, hahahahahahahha!

I was as frustrated as Brenly with the pitch selection to Pierre in the 9th, especially when you consider the way they were playing him defensively.

I don't get it either. I was more frustrated with Wood hitting Tiffee in a 1-2 count. Wood scares the hell out of me.

I didn't mind the sliders to Pierre. He doesn't need to get around on a fastball to flip it into LF for a game tying single and a blown save. He looked ridiculous trying to swing at the slider for strike 2, I don't blame him for trying to throw more of them in the zone after that point.

Woods slider needs to get out of the way of left handers body parts.

Soto better get familiar with a steady diet of breaking balls. He didnt look very good last night.

Edmonds' diving snow cone catch was fantastic. If he continues to hit this offense is really freaking deep.

he broke back for 3 steps before coming in on it...it was typical edmonds making what should have been a routine catch look special

I was in total agreement with Bob on the Pierre at bat. Toss a fastball up there, let Pierre hit one to Soriano and we can all go home.

Oh, and I'll bet Kemp didn't sleep very well last night knowing he had 3 fastballs right down the heart of the plate with the bases loaded, only to strike out on 3 straight pitches.

I was also going nuts at Kerry trying to pitch around Pierre, but I was astounded that Pierre was able to hold off of the pitch he walked on.

I dont see these 3 steps back you are talking about. Its on mlb.tv. He hesitates very slightly to left and then charges hard.

Their bad pitch selection evened out ours. Now way Fukudome should have seen a slider there.

I also didn't like the fastball to Kent. Howry was up in the count and should have wasted a slider or two on him. As a reliever, you can't be a one-pitch pitcher.

Kent hit that HR on a 1-1 count.

You're right. I would still like him to mix up his pitches, especially to a good fastball hitter.
