The radio call of the DeRo HR got national play on ESPN. Let the country hear the gospel of Pat and Ron!

They also said Jim Edmonds' double was off of Micah Hoffpauir

Today may have been the loudest game this year, but it doesn't compare to game 7 after Woods home run. Standing room only, multiple thousands of people outside the stadium on Waveland and Sheffield. I was at that game. If you want to know why the concrete is falling, I know why. The stadium was literally shaking. I was also at the Barrett game against the Cards, and that didn't even compare to game 7.

Yeah seriously, neither team was from Boston or NYC, how the hell were they supposed to know which player was on which team.

Damn, I wish we could see Marmol's inning again, or at least just his 3 called strike 3's. Absolutely sick how he locked those guys up.

What a great comeback win today!

Wish I played hooky and went to the game today though. My cousin had an extra ticket.

 

Loudest, IMO.

Game 1, 2003 NLCS. Sosa hits the game tying homer in the bottom of the ninth of of Ugeth Urbina. Hands down loudest Wrigley has ever been in my lifetime. Of all the hundreds of games I have been to in my life, that was the loudest. Even Waveland, Sheffield and all the rooftops could be heard.

Insanity at its finest.

 

I'm judging by what I could hear from TV and not the actual game, but the crowd seemed much louder after Wood's home run in game 7. Given the circumstances and what had happened the previous night and in the first inning of that game, I can't imagine it being any crazier. I've seen that clip probably a thousand times.

MLBTV subscription (includes Gameday Audio), two windows (one MLBTV, other audio), and a little manual pausing and restarting between both to get the timing synced up. :D

 

I don't have any way to record it, but it's pretty cool.

Ah, I figured it out now. Seems it wasn't so simple, and I just got lucky without realizing it:

 

Two tabs, one to MLB.com's multimedia page, and the other to the cubs' multimedia page (which is different): http://chicago.cubs.mlb.com/mediacenter/index.jsp?c_id=chc.

 

I was able to open the video from one and the audio from the other, presumably because they were from (sort of) different sites.

 

And I'm using Firefox, FWIW. Might not work with IE, haven't tried.
