Say something optimistic about Edmonds on the Cubs

Aren't the Cardinals still paying him some money? I thought they had to eat some salary in that trade. So, if by some miracle he's a solid contributor to this lineup, it's a good way to stick it to the Cards.

 

I honestly don't hate the deal if only because of the same thing everyone else has said. Pie likely wasn't going to play anyway, so I'd rather see Edmonds take the PAs against righties than Reed.
