Yet another reason why Hawk is the worst of all homers...

I made the mistake of turning on tonight's ballgame to get a score update, only to hear Hawk professing the brilliance of Sox hitting coach Greg Walker. He went on and on about how good Walker is, yet he somehow left out that the Sox are yet again among the worst hitting teams in baseball, average wise, in the majors. Virtually every Sox slugger is underperforming. Yeah, Hawk, Walker is awesome!

Add that to things like Len talkingg about how good Reed Johnson is for evidence that announcers are simply prostitutes

Every hitting coach is a great hitting coach, every pitching coach is a genius, and every potential manager is a terrific baseball man.
