A friend of my father's asked him this question about Obamaand someone suggested I ask it about McCain too.

So I ask you the same question. Yes or no. No questions or explanations before you vote.

Again, he would be 72 on election day if elected (Regan was 69). The guy is old.

if my grandpa made it to 85, ANYBODY can

I don't want anyone over the age of 65 running the damn country.

If that makes me an "ageist"...GOOD.

Why? How about 64 1/2?

I'm tired of old people getting the job. With everything else, we look at 65 as the age when people should be retired by and settling into the autumn years of their life. Why do we make a exception with the most powerful job in the world and willingly hand it over to people who would likely drive us bonkers in every other professional walk of life?

Again, maybe I'm being biased. Old people can go off and be old and be happy...but stay out of the Oval Office. If we have a minimum age for the job, we should have a maxmimum one for it, too.

Hey, it's no guarentee for a good president, but I'll take my chances.

Lou Piniella's managerial decisions this year show that anyone over 60 should not be hired to a powerful job. And yes, the Chicago Cubs manager position is a powerful job.

BTW: Mojo, is the presiDent a Batman reference? Or am I just a nerd

My Grandfather is 100 and he still does people's income taxes. Age shouldn't factor into the job any more than race or sex. The problem with having ayounger president is that we as tax payers will have to pay the secret service to follow them around the rest of their lives.

If that's a consideration for anyone when they're voting, they should have the right to do so revoked.
