I hope the Sox fans at work are enjoying this after their performance during the Cubs game today.

Sox fans can get shut down by Livan for 9 innings, lose by 12 and watch the opposing center fielder hit for the cycle, and they'll still find the chutzpah to be mouthy towards Cub fans the next day. Ignorance must be bliss.

I see Ludwick's BABIP is down to .455. He's almost human.

Gotta love that he has an EqA of .369 right now. I'm sure he'll keep that up.

I love it when crappy players play way above their heads for the Cardinals.

not that surprising considering that his LD% is 44.1%. i didn't even know that was possible.

Scary, because if that's what he's capable of, he is getting REAL unlucky in his flyballs and groundballs.

I have a few Sox fans near me and I heard them calling out the score to each other

"HOME RUN REDS 1-0!!!!!" "ANOTHER HOMER 2-0!!!!!!" "ANOTHER ONE!!!! 3-0!!!"

What douches.

Anyone see Buehrle today?

Buehrle went to the dugout, grabbed one of Juan Uribe's bats and whacked it five times against a space heater and a dugout bench before tossing his cap and shaking his head.

D'backs lose 5-4. They gave up 2 leads in the game (a 3-1 deficit in the 7th was erased by a Feliz two-run homer and a 4-3 lead in the 8th went by the wayside with RBIs from Bruntlett and Utley), and Brad Lidge pitches a filthy 9th for the save. Good way for "the best team in baseball" to finish the homestand before coming to Wrigley.

No quit in the Rox. Last night they get to within a run before coming up short in the 9th, tonight they hammer Izzy for the blown save/loss.
