How the hell did bronx sign him when he's an unlisted player?

I added him. Isn't that what we've done in the past? He's in the the Giants minor league system but CBS doesn't have him listed.

Bronx wanted to pick up Giants minor leaguer Angel Villalona and he is not listed in the CBS Commissioner database. I added him as an "Unlisted player" and added him to Bronx's roster like any other FA pick up. I have made a request to CBS for this player to be added to their database.

 

Once CBS adds this player then the "Unlisted player" will be deleted.

I thought that we had in the past as long as they were on an actual MLB minor league roster. No college prospects or players from the current years draft.

I have been waiting for CBS to add him so I can try to pick him up. I did not realize that we can request for players to be added because it so I have a couple in mind.

Tim will have to confirm if we had done this in the past. I don't think there were any last year but I want to say it happened in year one of the league. If not I will remove the "created" Villalona and then when CBS adds him it will be first come, first served.

Mooch, Juan used to let us do that in roadkill. We have never had a policy about being able to do that here. Let's take him off the roster and wait for him to be added to the database. I've been checking daily to see if he or Heyward would be added. People on the bottom of the waiver order should have first crack at him, not the first person to mention the player to an admin.

We should put players like this through the waiver process if you ask me.
