The one time we all want to rush our weekend away... Opening day is less than 72 hours away!

Right now the forecast calls for light showers... nothing they shouldn't be able to play through I'd hope. Maybe we won't get any at all.

GO CUBS GO!

Longest? How? There's still baseball tonight and tomorrow with full broadcasts for both games. Sunday's the only day where we get nothing from the Cubs and even then, there's real baseball on at night on ESPN with Braves @ Nats.

I guess you guys feel differently, but watching ST games just makes me want the regular season even more. I do have 2 hockey (yes, hockey) games to watch this weekend but still... I'm ready for baseball at Wrigley.

The time will come soon. This is the best weekend of the year in my mind. Nothing but 162 games ahead of us. It's just a weekend away.

My spring break officially ends this weekend and I have eight weeks of school with no break coming ahead. I feel this weekend will fly by.

I didn't want to start a separate thread for this, but

Piniella must have soundproof walls. Quiet? Zambrano was recently overheard singing the Hallelujah chorus, only inserting "Fukudome" instead as he passed outfielder Kosuke Fukudome. You have to keep an eye out in the clubhouse or Zambrano will knock you over while riding a mountain bike through the room.

Z is hard to figure out.

On one hand, he's the baseball player you'd probably most like to hang out with.

On the other hand, he's the baseball player most likely to punch you right in the beak.
