Probably not given the cost in prospects, especially considering the Cubs ability to come up with cash seems to be far greater than their ability to come up with prospects.

WHat would have been a realistic package for Swisher?

I'm not the guy for this but I assume it would include Gallager, Murton, and at least two other good prospects.

At the cost it would have been, I'm more than pleased with Fukudome over Swisher.
