This proves that in addition to folding under pressure, he's an inhumane arse. Now I can root for the Cubs to trade him for another third baseman.

Does this picture rival the 2004 Todd Walker Superman slide?

does a good job of displaying the athletic ability of soriano versus that of cliff floyd, that's for sure.

The best part is Mark DeRosa doing a crouched moonwalk to 1B.

The publicly accepted bash on him is lack of hustle. (or you may choose to apply the new term that will sweep the journalism world off its feat: fake hustle) You can't just make up baseless criticisms of a player and use that as the reason for wanting him gone...wait...nevermind.

The majority of you are consistently terrible at detecting sarcasm.

Honestly, the post still doesn't scream it to me because I don't recognize the poster. But when I read it my first instinct was that it was just bait.

If his post would have included mention of eating babies, I would have been able to tell that it was sarcasm. But without that, this is something that a person would actually say with a straight face. When sarcastic, I always try to add a little something as a tip off, either way over the top, or self-contradictory.

I've been too and lived in enough 3rd world countries to safely assume I have eaten quite a few dogs, and I declare them to be delicious. By that reasoning, I sanction all animal fighting so long as the animals taste awesome when served for dinner afterwards.

I really hope elephants taste great cooked, because elephant fights would be badass.

If it tastes good, kill it. Agreed.

However, if I don't *KNOW* it tastes good. Then you better not touch it or else.
