Why's that? Was there an incident or something I'm not remembering? Actually, I don't even remember a Cubs/Sox night game.

Last one was July 4, 2004 at Wrigley. Derrek Lee homered early and that was it for the entire game, until LaTroy gave up the same to Carlos Lee in the 9th (typical 2004 game, am I right?). The Cubs won when Damaso Marte walked Walker with the bases loaded in the bottom of the 9th.

That's right. The walk-off walk by Walkah. That was awesome.

Nope. Our very own Shingo Takatsu walked in Todd Walker. Here's the Box Score.

Incorrect. It was Shingo's runner that scored...Marte was the pitcher, and the box score reflects that he was the last to pitch in the game.

One of our last five games is exclusive to WCIU... as is another one of our last 12. We wont get to watch two Cubs games coming down the stretch. That's freaking ridiculous.
One of those two games will probably be the division clincher.

Thank god for MLB Extra Innings. Hopefully they don't jack the price up too much this season.

Has anybody heard how they're going to handle the HD games this year? Last year it was an extra $20 for Superfan. I didn't mind paying it, but they only offered one or two games a night. If I understand correctly, most games will be available in HD this year, so I hope they offer the HD versions...

Edit: Or was it $40 for Superfan? I can't remember now.

I thought about creating a new thread, but this can go just as well in here...

Is a dollar a game worth it? Because I'm an out-of-market Cub fan (Missouri) thinking about getting MLB.TV for the first time. I counted the games on the schedule, and it looks like 85-86 of them are on stations I won't get. The yearly package is $90, so that means the Cub games BY THEMSELVES would be basically a dollar a game. I know I would watch other games as well as use the condensed game feature, but the main deal is the Cub games, obviously.

Worth it?
