Idea - North Side Sports

personally, i don't really care for the idea. nsbb is successful because people were starving for a well-moderated cubs board with intelligent discussion. nsbb provided that. i'm not sure there was the same demand for a bears or bulls board in the same mold. nsbb is good because it caters to a specific kind of cubs fan.

 

but hey, incorporating the other 2 sites into this one won't really change that fact. but i'm not sure it's going to be successful. i don't think you're gonna draw any outside people here to talk about the bulls or bears, and probably 40-50% of the regular posters at nsbb aren't that interested in the bears or bulls.

 

but i admit, i LOVE the idea of an "other sports" forum separate from the social forum. whether you want to make sub forums in those specifically geared to bulls and bears fans, i don't really care either way.

The other sports thing works great on other boards I post on, too. It's definitely something worth exploring.
