Ok, I broke my two year ban from reading wsi so I could check out the thread and it's pure comedic gold.

 

First, they cite Crede's post season AB's as proof he's a better hitter. That's pretty laughable in itself.

 

And then his value over other players exists because he has a ring. Ha ha. That's great!

 

It's not often I can find such humor (even if it's unintentional) from a cesspool of a message board.

That is funny stuff. First time I've visited there in over 3 years, glad to see their inferiority complex is still going strong.

That header at the top of the page with the Wrigley sign and the slams at Sammy never gets old.

You would think a fan board for a team with a World Championship would want to focus on that instead of some tired old grudge.

the best thing about that thread is that the one guy who brings up relevant stats is completely thrown to the wolves
