So games would start on wen and thur at 10:30 est? Ugg that is horrible. Have to stay up till like 1:30 am to see the game. They should never start playoff games that late. I hope that info is wrong.

it would be 8:30est on Wednesday...they don't have a later start time than that for Wednesday. But yes...10:30est on Thursday appears to be the rumor.

How awsome would it be to see B.O.B. have a huge Cubs fan contingent.

It's definitely going to. The D'backs still have tickets available. I'm guessing there are a bunch of Cubs' fans buying tickets now and making plans for a trip to Arizona.

the trib site is running this:

By Phil Rogers, 12:29 p.m.

According to Major League Baseball sources, the Cubs games at Arizona on Wednesday and Thursday are likely to start around 9:30 p.m. For the Cubs one guaranteed game at Wrigley Field on Saturday, sources said it was likely to be a 5 p.m. first pitch. Should they play on Sunday, that start is undetermined.

Id much rather see at least the Wensday start be at 8:30 est instead of 10:30. So at least I get some sleep 1 night. I get up at 5 am for work lol Im gonna be a walking zombie by Friday morning if both games start at 10:30 est.

It's obviously going to. Didn't affect us last time nor did it affect us when Cards fans came and we swept them.

As of right now, only 44,000 tix sold..

Eww....I forgot we had a D-backs fan lurking around here... :D

We'll take any advantage we can get and the thought of a nice chorus of "Baseball Season's underway..." being sung at BOB just brings chills....

Oh, it'll be embarrassing hearing "LETS GO CUBBIES!" I just hope our fans yell back like they've done in the past. It'll REALLY suck if we fall behind, cause the fans will be out of it.

Well I'm gonna say Phil is wrong. Here's Wednesday's TBS schedule...

The last game starts at 8:30est/7:30cst per that schedule.

So now I have to hope for Trax to make the playoff roster so it would be around the 2nd inning when I get home at 10:30.

If you believe the Dbacks message board, there's a lot of phone calls being made from front offices to MLB about these times and that's why we have a delay in announcing them.

The Boss must be pissed that the Cubs are in his time slots again.

What's the B'Dacks board say about why the calls are being made? Like, do they want earlier or later starts?

Link to a good D'Backs board? I tried googling last night, but couldn't find one.

Chris24Young had a link to this one earlier. It seems like a decent one from the limited time I spent browsing.

The "Arizona Cubs" thread has a lot of speculation about game times.

The rumor is that the DBacks are unhappy about a possibly early game...10:30am Arizona time...but who knows.

A 10:30 am local start is ridiculous.

And maybe against the CBA? Again this is all message board speculation.

Hopefully the speculation will end in an hour...

What makes you think it will be announced at 4?

i accidentally posted this in another topic, but buster olney said that mlb will announce game times by 4p today.
