After a quick run through on Baseballreference, the last time no team in a league won 90 games was the 1959 NL and the 1945 AL. Both when the schedule was 154 games.

Ari has 88 wins with 4 to play

SD has 87 wins with 4 to play

NY has 87 wins with 4 to play

Phi has 86 wins with 4 to play

Col has 86 wins with 4 to play

Ari has 88 wins with 5 to play

SD has 87 wins with 5 to play

NY has 87 wins with 5 to play

Phi has 86 wins with 5 to play

Col has 86 wins with 5 to play

All those teams only have 4 left to play, not 5.

I think at least one of the west teams will get to 90 with Arizona and Colorado playing each other this weekend.

All suck!

Hopefully, the Cubs can follow the Bears lead and make it all the way to the big one.....

I'm pretty sure the Cubs could handle any team from the Eastern Conference.

Me likey. No team in league winning 90 games = Chicago team in World Series (Cubs in 1945, Sox in 1959). Yet another sign this is our year. :D

Yes, but going by that reasoning shouldn't this be the White Sox year?

I think the Cubs could take the Colts in 7 games, unless Peyton pitched all 7

You're looking at it wrong. You're looking at it as though the Chicago team from the opposite league makes the World Series. The correct way to look at it is the Chicago teams alternate. Cubs in 1945, Sox in 1957, Cubs in 2007. Next time an entire league goes without a 90-game winner is the Sox turn. :D

I'd kill a snitch. I'm not saying I have, I'm not saying I haven't.

They're screwed if they pitch to Hester, though.
