The Cards aren't dead until after this weekend series. That said, if they don't take at LEAST three of four, their season is done.

They are not dead till mathmatically eliminated....I counted them out a month ago...I'm not doing it again until the cofin is closed...but if we get a series win this weekend...well...they'll be close.

Did no one find my hijack of the Wizard of Oz to be clever? Not even one?

Worst fans in baseball, always have been ever since they came in.

The Marlins' article claims 10,000 -- obviously almost all no-shows.

It would be cool to go to a game like this though, wouldn't it? You'd probably be able to hear what the players were saying on the field, you could literally sit wherever the hell you wanted. There would probably be an echo when a hitter cracked a line drive.

Surreal.

Back in the early 80's Wrigley was pretty empty. I remember buying the cheapest seats and moving to box seats. Everything changed after 1984.

The CUBS had a lot of crowds in the hundreds back in the early/mid sixties. Gave the fans a chance to get to know the players !!

The Cards are dead. Long live the Cards !!!

I'm confused...

Of course you are !! You seem to think we're on Central Standard Time around here, no?
