In Z's defense, the ump has been calling the low strike all game - I remember one to Lee in particular that looked a lot like Z's 1-2 pitch there.

 

Marmol needs to shut it down.

Aren't you glad Marmol isn't the closer, would you rather see Dempster in for this situation? I don't know if its Lou being a smart manager or being lucky that he trusts the proven vet more in the 9th.

That's where I land in the debate, though Marmol just about served up a tie game right there.
