White Sox are now only one game "behind" Tampa Bay for the worst record in all of MLB.

It really is hard to believe how far and how fast they've fallen.

Not when you consider the fact they find value in guys like Erstad and Podsednik.

Decent point.

I think they've finally reached their limit with Podsednik, but the love affair with Erstad is mystifying.

They're doing the Marlin thing. Win....trade your players....lose and get a couple of high picks and build the minors up and then win again.

Who'd they trade?

From the WS team, Iguchi, Rowand, Garcia, McCarthy, Duque, Cotts, Marte, and a good deal more since then as well. Not exactly like the Marlins have done it (CWS payroll has gone up and stayed up since winning), but a significant amount of turnover nonetheless.

True, not quite the tear down the Marlins went through but as you said, pretty good turnover indeed.
