If the Cardinals win tonight and beat us in the upcoming series, I am pretty sure that is enough momentum to get them through anything. Seems like their whole offense is stepping it up.

Kinda upset I rooted for the Cardinals this series now :(

Yea but having the Cardinals win, means despite how pathetic we're playin, we're only 1.5 games behind. If we can beat the Cards this series, then we're in good shape.

But the Brewers get the Deds at home, which means somehow the Reds will only scored 3 runs the whole series.

Oh, lets also not count out the Astros (8.0 GB) and the Reds (9.5 GB).

Umm. Let's.

They're down by a lot with not a lot of games left in the season.

They're very bad baseball teams.

They're chasing 3 teams.

While this is true, I just wanted to increase our depression by emphasizing that one of the two swept us and the other team is a game away from sweeping us.

And Bobby Livingston is **shudder** scrappy

No probem. :D

As for the purpose of this thread, no this is not a make-or-break series. We could lose three of four and still be in first place (although tied). Our season would clearly not be over. This is a very important series, but it is not "the season."
