Nice rally kill, DLee. Man.

But can't blame him for not being eager to swing vs a guy who participated in 10 walks* for the Cubs that inning.

* - slight exaggeration

I know it's blasphemous among Cub fans to bash the almighty D-Lee, but when's the last time this clown had a clutch hit? The granny against the Sox back in May? Come on... I am so tired of his routine: take the first pitch, foul one off, defend the strike zone for a while, and then strike out looking. Stop looking for a walk and take a swing...

What? Here's a prime example of why the term "clutch" ultimately means nothing.

At the rate his average keeps dropping, I don't think it'll be long before others join in on the chorus.

Yep. That .316 BA and +.900 OPS is killing us.

It was .335 about three weeks ago.

I'm frustrated by Lee right now too, but "clown"?

very weird coincidence:

when i compared norris hopper to billy hatcher earlier in this thread, i had absolutely no idea that hatcher was the first base coach of the reds, nor that hopper would almost hit him with a foul ball later in the game. what are the chances?
