You know back when I was a kid and made prank phone calls me & my buddy called this random person in Columbia City, Indiana with the last name Mantle and joked around about talking to Mickey.....old lady was real serious and said "oh he don't visit much anymore" or something like that. that does not constitute a fake winning streak...for a team to win a championship...everybody must contribute at some time or another...one could argue that what the cubs just went through is definitely a sign pointing towards a championship team...
