Cliff Floyd has an IsoP of .096. And he's the Cubs #5 hitter.

He has an OPS+ of 94.

got the big boppers coming up

Epatt will go yard this inning. You will then commence the changing of your pants.

I have a feeling the Cubs are gonna come back and win this one. A-Ram is gonna have a big PH off the bench.

I sure hope you know what you're talking about.

I think Kerry is going to be a good, fresh 2 inning guy once he gets going. But I don't like bringing him in in the middle of an inning with men on.

some people on here just need to stop being so biased. Floyd isn't a great player, but her certainly doesn't suck. Kinda funny how some of the same people who rag for a better team OBP want Floyd who has an OBP of about .370 to never play.

Floyd is basically Juan Pierre, but he's not fast and he takes a couple more walks.

He's got an EqA of .268 and he's supposed to be our 5th batter.

isn't an eqa of .260 average or something?

That's the point. He's an average bat who's only in there because he's supposed to be our power-hitting RF. He's terrible in the outfield, breaks down every time he runs the bases, and can only take walks and hit singles. He's not good.

I knew we heard a lot of spin, but losing Soriano completely deflated this team.

BS. The offense had issues before his injury. It didn't help, but you can't blame what we're seeing here on that.

He will then be called out for batting after already being taken out of the game.

Haha. I forgot he was taken out. Pretty hard to pay attention to this crappy game.

You know, up until about 2 weeks ago, I felt like the Cubs could come back in just about any game...I don't feel like that anymore.

Amazing, how quickly the feeling swings.

I don't think the Cubs feel like that anymore. Just look at Lee.

Its almost like a basketball team, they wasted all their energy coming back, and now that they got there, they're bushed and will tank.
