Len is losing it.

Hell, I'm losing it.

This is not the way a championship team plays.

But out of morbid curiosity, what did Len say?

some people on here just need to stop being so biased. Floyd isn't a great player, but her certainly doesn't suck. Kinda funny how some of the same people who rag for a better team OBP want Floyd who has an OBP of about .370 to never play.

His BABIP is .343, so he's been quite lucky this year. If the luck goes away, you're left with a guy who's hitting .260 and getting on base at a .335 clip with basically no power.

Floyd is basically Juan Pierre, but he's not fast and he takes a couple more walks.

He's got an EqA of .268 and he's supposed to be our 5th batter.

What's he saying?

They have spent the entire inning making fun of the Astro's PA announcer. Pretty funny but sad at the same time.

unfortunately soriano's injury, and the fact that it came just after the trade deadline, gives hendry a ready-made excuse for the offense tanking the rest of this year. And the morons who decide his future won't realize that the team was flawed with or without soriano.

hendry's out of ready-made excuses. the new ownership won't care why he's lost so often, just that he has. the absentee owners of the cubs are about to sell the team to people looking to make an impression on the fans of the cubs.

Cliff Floyd is a corner outfielder who offers absolutely nothing but his bat and he has a .386 slugging percentage!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

To put that into perspective, Ryan Theriot is slugging .369!!!

Damn, that sounds awesome. Wish I could be watching CSN to listen to Len.

I hear you, but we could bring Cy Young, Babe Ruth, Gehrig and Ted Williams back from the dead and they would probably suck for the Cubs. I think the uniform is heavier.
