Think they still put Wood in?

No pressure or anything Woody.

What's the alternative? Kerry's warmed up, and Marmol better not come out for another inning.

Yea because the rules wouldn't allow it.

Looks like Wood may not get to pitch today. I'd be willing to wait another day if the Cubs can take the lead.

Why I have much more confidence in Wood to hold this game where it is than Howry?

Is the strike zone that bad today? I have heard a lot of complaints, and if so maybe it would be a nice day to put Wood in with a nice big zone.

It hasn't been as big for us.

fantastic at bat murton. granted those were some bad calls but still.

The K zone is small all game, then it suddenly expands for Murt? Is this ump Burce Froeming in disguise?

Zambrano wasn't getting a big zone.

I don't know why some of you believe you can just keep pitching Marmol 20+ pitches every single game with no repercussions.

The cheering over the radio feed sure sounds like Woody is coming in.

So they thought. Little did they know...

I think your confidence may be misplaced. Howry has been pretty consistent, despite a couple of meltdowns. Wood hasn't pitched in the majors for about a year.
