i dont want marmol in when it doesnt matter

That's all I'm implying as well... If the game is on the line, then bring him in..not w/ a 5 run lead. Just my opinion.

Even a month of Wood would help this team out, imo.

He'll be back soon, but how long he'll be back is anyone's guess.

The good thing is that we have 3(4 if you count that Wuertz who seems to have his good slider back) other RH relievers to use, so the temptation to pull a Chad Fox won't be nearly as strong for Lou.

Yeah he only has a little left, which makes me wish they would just get him up here. We know when healthy he can get guys out.

yeah and if they put eyre or petrick in and griffey puts one out, then all of a sudden it's 6-4 and it does matter

Perhaps but with 2 men on and Griffey batting, the game could quickly become "on the line".

You have to keep him sharp too. The guy's faced 2 hitters in 7 days, going an inning isn't overusing him in the slightest. Wuertz has thrown 3 straight days, and Ohman has thrown 3 of the last 4.

did cedeno always do a little toe-tap with his front foot, or is that new-ish?

I don't remember him ever doing a toe-tap.

I don't recall seeing that before either.. Guessing it's something Joshua had him doing at Iowa..

I see Jones is right back to sucking again after that one weekend of good hitting. We desperately need a better outfield bat in the lineup.
