Who do you cheer for between the Braves/DBacks? I would say the DBacks, even though they lead the Wild Card. Despite their winning streak, I still do not think they are good enough to get it done and will have a drop off. The Braves, on the verge of dealing for Tex, are looking dangerous.

I think you'd just root for neither team to sweep.

Bleh. Brewers have to face Maroth.

Ryan Braun vs. crappy lefty = 3+ homeruns tonight.

There's a chance of rain here in STL, wonder what happens if the game gets rained out. They're already playing a day-night doubleheader on Saturday, would they do it again on Sunday, or does Milwaukee come back to Busch again?

It's a bad sign when the teams we want to lose are all up against pitchers with era's above five (or very close in the one case) :(

I know the Brewers suck on the road, but I'm not expecting much help from the Card's this weekend. Cubs are gonna have to win 2/3 to keep pace IMO.

I pull for the team with a worse record going in to win the game.

Anyone else see Yunel Escobar just take second after his at bat? Valverde was stretching just off the mound, the middle infielders were nowhere near the bag and Clark at 1B wasn't paying attention and he just took off and made it without a throw.

And now Harris singles him in to tie the game and blow the save for Valverde.

At AT&T Park they played a message from Michael Jordan congratulating Bonds on his accomplishment/near accomplishment.

They played it as Bonds was taking the field and Bonds got all giddy. He was pointing to the scoreboard raising his arms.
