I went from 2nd place and the most points overall in the regular season to 5th place in the playoffs. I guess the only thing I can hold on to is that regular season and playoff combined I still scored the most overall points....I can't wait until next year.

Registration for fantasy football is now open on Yahoo. Is there a desire to continue this league? If so, I'll renew the league and invite back those who were active last year and see how many openings for new managers there may be.

I renewed the league; everybody who parrticipated last year should receive an invitation through Yahoo with the link to register. After last year's members have had a reasonable amount of time to register I'll fill and openings on a first-come, first-serve basis. Anybody interested in participating if there are any openings can post here (only if you're committed to remaining active) and I'll keep track of the order for any openings. Dew has already spoken up for the first opening.

Registrations seem to have slowed to a crawl. There are five spots still open. I'll give those who participated last year until the end of this weekend to register, then beginning Monday I'll start to fill remaining spots with people who express an interest. So far Prior4CyYoung and ELCABALLO45 have expressed an interest and are in line for the first two openings. Anybody else interested in participating should indicate so in this thread (potentially there could be three more openings for people who have not yet expressed an interest). I'd like to keep the league at 14 members, because that seems to be the ideal number for fantasy football (everybody would play everybody else exactly once that way), but it isn't necessary. What is necessary is that there's an even number of teams. Those who have not yet signed up from last year (not including Rocket, who already indicated he wasn't planning to participate this year) are Fighting CTs, Lone Star Legends, Pacman's Rain, Fat Nasty & the 45's, and neifi saved us!

I've given enough time for last year's members to re-up, so I'm now filling the remaining spots with new members. I sent an invite to Prior4CyYoung. That will make 10 members; from here on out I plan to issue invitations 2 at a time (up to the maximum 14 members) to ensure an even number of teams in the league. ELCABALL045 is next in line, and once somebody else indicates an interest (to keep the league at an even number of teams) I'll issue invites to both. So post your interest here (first-come, first-served). The only expectation is that you are committed to remaining active even if your team is in the toilet. :D

As long as you're comitted to remaining active I don't think how long you've been an NSBB member is important. I'll send the registration information to ELCABALL045 and you by PM within the next day or so.

I don't know if you meant that jokingly, but I don't believe in an owner having more than one team in the same league. There's still plenty of time before the draft for others to express interest.

You get the next spot, assuming one more person is interested to ensure an even number of teams (a Yahoo requirement for head-to-head leagues).
