Now that the league is complete, here is a list of the league members and corresponding NSBB screen names, as best as I know. I'd appreciate help filling in the blanks so this can be complete. I know cheapseats has one of the teams, but I don't know which one. The other teams apparently are by people who signed up without posting in this thread.

Guys, I'm sorry that I missed the draft. We're moving into a new house and my weekends are pretty well shot -- I thought I was going to make it back, but it just didn't happen.

Thanks; it was an enjoyable season. Losing one player can make all the difference. In another league I'm in I went 7-1 over the last 8 weeks of the regular season to make the playoffs, but then Reggie Bush went down and I lost all 3 playoff games to finish 8th.

Fairly soon (probably later this evening) I'll renew the league for 2008. First priority will go to those who participated last year (you should get an e-mail from Yahoo with the link for joining the league). After a reasonable period (probably about two weeks), if anybody from last year does not join for this year I'll open up the remaining slots on a first-come, first-served basis. Once the league is filled, if somebody else in the league would like a turn as commissioner I can transfer those powers. If more than one person is interested in serving as commissioner we'll hold an election.

 

And a warning: Everybody else who signs up is playing for second place. I am so winning this league again.

I've reset the league; watch for your invite from Yahoo if you participated last year. I've tentatively set the draft for Monday, Aug. 25 at 9:30 P.M. Eastern time; once the league is filled we can decide whether that's a good time. I was trying for a time fairly late in preseason, after training camp battles have played out, but with time remaining to make trades or other moves before the start of the season.

Apparently Yahoo didn't send out an automated e-mail like I thought they did (they did for another league I started, so I'm not sure why they didn't for this league). I just sent out an e-mail through Yahoo with the information (and this time I know it went out, because I got a copy). For those who hid their e-mail addresses but I was able to determine their NSBB names I sent a PM through NSBB instead. There's one league member (perhaps a lurker rather than a poster) who hid his/her e-mail address last year and also didn't provide an NSBB name, so I was not able to contact that person. If for some reason you did not get the e-mail or PM (for example, if your e-mail address has changed) please send me a PM, give me either your team name from the league last year or your Yahoo ID for verification purposes, and I'll send you the information. Once there has been a reasonable period for last year's members to sign up again I'll see if there are any vacancies to fill, and if so they'll be filled first-come, first-serve. The Golden Thunder has already spoken for the first vacancy, if there are any.
