Other than Pie, what up and coming speed demons do we have on the rise in the Cubs minor league system?

Johnson has 16 since he signed and it looks like Camp has some between Peoria/Daytona, looks like Wyatt and Hardman might steal some in their futures.

Leon Johnson, now there's a guy who jumped from Rookie league to A ball in Peoria without any issues. Since he got promoted July 18th he's hitting at a .333/.444/.476 clip (7 for 21) along with 2 SB. I have high hopes for the guy and he is rising fast in the Cubs system.

 

I've never met a white guy named Leon before. And with that much speed, I thought he was black before I just did a google search and saw his pic!

Hardman on the other hand has gone 2 for 21 .095/.095/.095 his last 5 in Peoria since being promoted. No SB yet.

Leon's youngest brother Cedric was drafted by the Phillies this year out of Thatcher Hs, Az. they also have a brother who's presently is on the 40 man major league roster of the Tampa Bay Devil Rays, 2nd baseman Elliott Johnson who plays for Durham in 3a and his middle name is Willie. They have an older brother whose name I dont know but I think he played in the Angels system.
