I'll be the first to admitt I was one of the people that thought really high of Ervin and tried numerous scenarios that many people didn't like to get him.

Not sure if anybody is interested or not but Santana pitched pretty well tonight against Sacramento but he was a tough-luck loser.

 

7 IP, 2 H, 1 R, 1 ER, 3 BB, 6 K's.

 

He made one bad pitch in the game and got burned. Jeremy Brown (yes, him) crushed it to leftcenter for a home run which was the only run of the game. Colby Lewis pitched five perfect innings for the River Cats - he was limited to 60 pitches because he's getting stretched out after pitching out of the pen for the A's.

He has had some decent starts this year. The problem is that his bad starts have been REALLY bad. I drafted him in one of my leagues too, knowing I was getting a high ERA. I thought he was worth the risk, and I was way wrong.
