I'm starting the week with Ichiro on the bench because he was hurt yesterday and is considered day-to-day. His status for tonight wasn't known by the deadline for setting today's lineups. I plan to put him back in my lineup when he returns.

Good thing for Tim I have Gallagher on my minor league roster. His outing today would have looked nice on my team.

Roy Oswalt pitched in relief Tuesday night and Tim is currently credited for 1.5 points. Correct me if I'm wrong, but my understanding is that points scored in relief by normal starters when in the fantasy lineup as a starter don't count.

 

Sorry, Tim; I need a win and will do anything legitimate to try to get it. :D

I replaced Tracy with Encarnacion at 3B. Tracy missed Thursdday's game against the Brewers with a knee injury and, according to Yahoo, is likely to be given the Cubs' series off.

I reinstated Tracy to my lineup because he is playing this weekend. His injury apparently wasn't as bad as first thought, since he was said to be likely to miss the weekend according to Yahoo. This had no bearing on my scoring yesterday since both Tracy and Encarnacion put up big fat goose eggs.
