How did Fontenot get an RBI for that?

Pat said sac, E3, no RBI for Fontenot.

That's what I thought it would be, but Gameday had him credited with an RBI so I wasn't sure.

Pat and Ron saying Fontenot jarred the ball loose?

No

Ball was clearly bobbled & out of Aurilia's glove before Fontenot got to the bag..

He did however knock the ball further away from Aurillia after he had already bobbled it. Riot wouldn't have scored if Fontenot hadn't (accidentally) ran into the ball forcing it further down the line.

From their vantage point, it is easy how they would see it that way. But, the replay showed the ball popped out of Aurilla's mitt and the ball then hit Fontenot as he was reaching first.

I'm glad to see Cubs playing the game the right way.

Moving a runner to third = pure National League baseball.

The error and run were just gravy.
