I hate for injuries to happen...But finally it happens to someone besides us..People don't get what we go through, and now finally they have a taste of what it's like..Happening to the Brew Crew is a beautiful tihng too, finally things are looking bright for us..

someone besides us? Wood and Prior were guaranteed injuries. Aside from that, the Cubs have actually been pretty fortunate as far as health goes this year. ARam, Lee, Soriano have all been a little dinged up, but no offensive players have missed very large chunks of time. The rotation has been healthy, and the only pitchers to miss much time have been Dempster and Guzman. (knocking on wood)

Gameday showed it as being a HR by a good margin.

Gotta love gameday.

outfielder climbed the wall and then jumped 30 feet up to make the grab.

Speaking of which, does anyone remember a certain catch at Tiger Stadium in the late 80s? They had that scoreboard in left right along the fence, and on a real high fly, some guy climbed up and stood on top of it to take away a homer? That's one of my early baseball memories (probably saw it during the NBC game of the week)

Funny thing found on a Reds board

...The Reds could then turn around and deal Ross to the Cubs who are hurting for a catcher, with Weathers for a couple young arms like Mike Wuertz and Carlos Marmol.

Yeah right.

Go Rockies

Oh my! Sure let's jump right on that trade. LMAO!

The thing about the Brewers is I can't bring myself to despise them as much as the Cardinals or the Astros.......... I guess I can learn by the end of the season though

I think I know the game you're referring to. It was Monday Night Baseball on ABC and it was against the White Sox. Ivan Calderon made the catch.

I find JJ Hardy very easy to hate for some reason.

I remember watching that game. I think it was White Sox vs Tigers? But I definitely remember that catch clear as day.

Ben Sheets hurt. It's his middle finger on his throwing arm.

Sheets out.

blister on his finger.

things are going badly for the brewers.

Not a blister. He threw and his finger popped and he is grimacing every time the trainer touches it.

how does that happen? throwing a pitch shouldn't cause that type of injury. did he hit it on his leg during a follow through?

Didn't Joel Zumaya pull a ligament in his middle finger throwing a pitch?

Corey " I wear my sunglasses at night" Hart is a guy I don't care for much. Even before the homer..................
