You can't really laugh at a guy getting hurt. What people laughed as us for was the remarkable silly injuries, swearing every spring "they're gonna be healthy THIS year!" and then being dicked around by our coaches or doctors about the health of those pitchers. I don't think people laughed at the actual guys getting hurt (except for a few Sox fans), but the manner in which those injuries were dealt with and recieved by us. Including myself.

 

Laughing at a guys injury makes you a pretty foolish person, and you also put yourself on Karma's bad side. Good luck with that!

Yeah, there were too many times I read openly celebratory posts from Cardinals and Sox fans to just write it off.

 

I never root for injury, because it does suck, but this looks very much like the big 'ol Karmic wheel spinning around and whacking Cards fans where it hurts.
