As in we get it in Chicago? Really?

Yep. I live in a northern suburb and I get it.

I'm in southeastern Wisconsin between Madison and Milwaukee and I get WGN. I'm almost positive WTMJ would come in down there. They're both 50,000 watt stations.

I live in Eastern Iowa and I get WGN. Never tried to get WTMJ as I usually don't care about things in Wisconsin.

I was driving around Wrigleyville today listening to their pregame show and it came in mostly fine. A few weeks ago, I was trying to listen to one of their games at night and it was almost impossible to hear. I'm guessing since AM radio signals travel better at night, there was interference from other stations.

Yep. You'll get 620, 720, 1310 out of Madtown.

Southeastern Wisconsin gives one a pretty good selection on the AM dial for sports. After dark you can even pick up the Indians.

I was able to pick up a Reds game on the radio after dark many years ago.

My best was a Toronto game, but it kept fading in & out.

I used to get WGN in sporadic parts of New Hampshire when I lived there. I remember listening to Game 4 of the 2003 NLCS and hearing Pat's call of Ramirez's grand slam as I was driving down the highway (frantically trying to get to a TV).

As far as radio station signals go, I used to get ESPN1000 quite well in NH, I would listen to Bulls games all the time. WBBM 780 came in very well as well. WGN was the next best signal, and once in a very blue moon, I'd manage to get the Score.

I'm sad to see MLB teams dropping their clear channel flagships. Since childhood, I've loved being able to tour the leagues with nothing more than a decent radio and a clear night; now, the Braves are gone from 750 WSB, and the Cards left KMOX, with more to follow.

I've picked up WGN as far south as Florida and as far west as central Texas. I've had even better results with 700 WLW out of Cincinnati.
