    • ESPN's Sunday Night Baseball last season (Walrond was pitching) - ball rolls through his legs and Scott Rolen scores all the way from the batter's box (LOL factor on this one)

I voted for the 3-run shot. I was with a Cardinals fan that night playing poker and just talking about how much I hate Jacque and the fact that we signed him when be blasted that ball. It was the one good thing I have a clear memory of.

That one time he didn't spike a throw directly into the ground.

Sure, it went 10 feet over the catcher's head, but I was still stunned that the ball actually went upward.

I never got to see the infamous spike throw, and I've tried youtubing it several times before. Any chance someone around here knows where I can see it?

LOL ya I remembered when Jones over threw the catcher. I was in complete shock as I didn't think it was possible for him to throw the ball more than 10 feet. He was probably like dang that was my closest and best throw I ever made to home plate.

I remember in Milwaukee last year there was a ball in foul territory in right field that Jacque picked up and threw a perfect strike to the plate to nail the runner. It was an amazing throw-the next day, he had 2 throws home in the first inning-one was a 5 bouncer and the other one went over the catcher's head.

I blame this thread, along with the tribute thread in baseball discussions, for jinxing the trade.

Wow, it's pretty sad that in nearly a year and a half, I truly can't think of one really good Jacque Jones moment. And I mean sad in a pathetic kind of way.
