It seems that these batting practice jerseys always have to be very gaudy, I think they should make them with just a simple official NL or AL logo on the chest, I'd be more apt to buy one of those than these.

I kinda like the "splash down" logo. But the uniform's??? My gosh why didn't they just go with a retro Giants uniform in home and away versions. U-G-L-Y

You do realize that they always use the colors of the team hosting the game, right? This was not an arbitrary color choice.

right, but they always suck. The Pirate's colors are black and gold, so what do they do? Make a hideous gold BP jersey, not a cool black one. So it goes for every team

Well it's only for HR Derby and batting practice. Thankfully they wear their team jerseys for the game.

Brutal. I guess they have some study that says there will be more total jersey sales by marketing them to to the home team's fans, who are more likely to be excited about the game, as a whole, than the national fan base.

When I was at the Cubs/Rangers series, some guy behind me during the Thursday game was wearing a National league all-star jersey. He just looked so out of place.

Well, I would hope so.... but even then, why bother with those silly jersey in the first place?
