Willis is not the same type of pitcher he was a couple of years ago. Fastball has been from 85-91 in the first inning, slider does not have the same bite it once had, and it looks like he is not getting all the extension he used to be able to get.

Well, looks like the Royals aren't gonna win it today (I figured that much in the first place anyways) since Elarton is pitching, and that Buddy Bell had LaRue as the catcher and Alex Gordon at first base today.

 

No John Buck, No Ryan Shealy, and no Billy Butler.

 

Buddy Bell is the worst manager in baseball, period.

somehow the Mets have only managed 3 hits and no runs off Santana despite not striking out once. That's hard to do against a guy who strikes out better than one per inning.
