Probably. It was absolutely crushed. Unfortunately all of this probably means Priday will leave after this year (at least from the grumblings I heard in the stands tonight), but if he helps get us to Omaha, who cares.

I have no idea who is going tomorrow. I thought the bats would come out ready in the 9th, and Priday started things off with a bang again, followed by the Coleman walk. But I wasn't very happy when they stole 2nd in front of Senne because I knew he wouldn't get a chance to swing again and I have very little confidence in Mach and Ardnt to get the job done. Frustrating.

Oh by the way, I was really proud of my girlfriend tonight. She doesn't know a lot about baseball (she asked me about check swings, balks, the coaches boxes, dropped third strikes, tagging up, and appeals after tag ups), but at one point in the game she yelled: "you gotta get on base, take a walk!"

Big West looking decent. Fullerton's in the Super Regionals and UC Irvine should make it as well. Long Beach and UC Riverside, well, not so much.

This is what I saw/learned this weekend:

 

1. Once again, no Mizzou team can win a big game. Two shots to win 1 game against a Louisville team we already beat and we can't do anything.

2. Letting Crow go the distance vs. Kent State on Friday was good to save the bullpen, but it was a Dusty Baker like move if you were planning on using him today, like they did. He had absolutely nothing.

3. Louisville is the least classy team ever. Today they tried bunting, up 10 runs, so our pitcher hits him and one of our reserves yells something and he gets tossed, but the UL manager LITERALLY came out to argue at least 10 times between the last two games, sometimes screaming and pointing at the ump, and nothing happens. I'm not even going to talk about the Dominguez thing.

4. Nothing went Mizzou's way these last two games. It just seemed like every hard hit ball in the OF was right at them and they got to every ground ball or deep fly ball to the wall. Frustrating.

5. Everyone of Mizzou's pitchers went out and got drunk last night, I'm certain that's the only explanation for NO ONE being able to get people out today.

6. I hate sports.

Fitting way to end the season. Mizzou loads the bases with no one out for their 3-4-5 hitters and it goes like this:
