f'in pujols. just get that game over with already. if that game wasn't in houston, he'd have four homers...he had two flyouts to dead center, one of which pence had to scale half the hill to catch.

Won't matter unless Gaudin implodes.

i wish they'd just take him out right now. he's been walking the tightrope all game.

my bats woke up this week...15 homers. quite the slugfest, as you had 11. neither team's pitching was too hot.

That's one way to describe my pitching this week. :(

friggin' lopez just missed a grand slam by two inches.

man, gaudin is tempting fate. at least two baserunners on in three of his four innings.

By the way, I thought long and hard about going with Wainwright instead of Bonderman. I'm very scared of the Cleveland Indians on Sunday.
So far it looks like your fears may be valid. Bonderman has given up 2 runs and has -5.75 points in the first inning.

Me likey. :D

Upon further review, it turns out that I'm the one who made the boneheaded pitching decision to cost me a win. Jennings in my lineup with 2 points; Marshall on my bench with 25 points. That 23 point difference looks like it will decide the matchup. I'm sure the other East managers love me and the other West managers hate me. :D

wow, thanks for throwing gaudin out there to give up a homer and a single in the sixth. could come down to which closer gets a save tonight.

If I'm not mistaken, for some reason it hasn't subtracted off the seven points for the tba allowed by sheets yet. That would put me within three points.

This would be a great time for Abreu to rediscover his power stroke...

i was following it earlier, and i noticed that sheets' points changed (adding a bunch of points), but, for some reason, i'm not sure if the overall point total changed. who knows.

these shitty bullpens that are dragging out the col/cin, stl/hou, sea/tex games are brutal. also, there is no way drew plays tonight. his [expletive] little brother took the day off too. the day to day drew sisters are killing me.

holliday k's on a ball in the dirt. single for lopez.

lopez may get two more ab's this inning the way the rangers pen is going. there has been a lot of shitty pitching across baseball today.

I believe I'm in the lead by 0.15 points...

Go Abreu!

Go Yankees!

I think I'm going to lose on a Papelbon save.

nice [expletive] 0-2 pitch, [expletive].

if stupid ass abreu doesn't make that catch in right, papelbon's winning it for me with a save.

Mo will blow the save.

yeah, that splitter you just threw in the dirt to strike out posada? maybe you should have [expletive] thrown that to arod ON THE 0-2 COUNT!!!

they must not be babying papelbon enough...he should only throw five pitches a week to protect his precious arm.

I'm not out of this yet with Ortiz, Manny & Youk coming up this inning.

nice cut.

well, that was a hotly contested fantasty baseball matchup. usually doesn't go down to the wire like that with dueling closers in the late game...even facing the other team's hitters with the game on the line.

honestly though, the most important thing is that jd drew was safely tucked in bed by 8:30, tummy full, wearing his jammies and spooning with his [expletive] ass brother.

Fun week. Well, for everyone, except Abuck. Lots of close match ups.

Sorry to beat you, NC. I know how frustrating it is to be the 2nd top scorer for the week and lose. I would have been pissed if I lost this week.

Luckily, Bonderman turned things around after the 1st inning. I have lots of choices on the mound this week with Halladay, Cain and Shields each going twice, so I'm expecting mammoth points from my pitching staff this week.

It is frustrating to be second best for the week and still lose, but it was a good, back and forth match all week long. I blame the stupid manager who made the boneheaded decision to start Jennings over Marshall; that made the difference. That manager needs to be fired.
