i need a rules clarification.

 

HBC picked up germano from free agency today and he's in the lineup for tonight's start. i understand that we can shuffle SP's from the bench into the rotation and vice versa to get the seven starts, but i thought it was determined that we could not pick up free agents during the week to reach seven starts.

 

I'm not sure what the rule was on that? I picked Germano up because I had put Kennedy in the line-up and didn't get his 28 pts from his start.

it looks like you didn't get kennedy's points b/c he wasn't in your lineup when he pitched on 6/1.

eh, thanks to some late points from teix, i'm down 18 and i already have two starts to tim's none. if i picked up some scrub off waivers, he'd probably get negative points. i'm just going to take my chances with sheets and gaudin.

I cut him before this week. Torres had been horrible before and the Pirates didn't make a change. I figured they wouldn't now, especially since Capps still has to serve a suspension.

So I lived with the consequences. I'd love to have those additional 13 points right now.

By the way, I thought long and hard about going with Wainwright instead of Bonderman. I'm very scared of the Cleveland Indians on Sunday.

So far it looks like your fears may be valid. Bonderman has given up 2 runs and has -5.75 points in the first inning.

Well, if that's the feeling I could care less about the 9 pts. I made the Garmano move to keep from having an issue, but that obviously isn't the case.

 

It wasn't that I didn't submit my line-up change. I moved Kennedy into the line-up and submitted my line-up. I don't know what the problem was.

 

If the 9 pts needs to be removed, so be it.
