This guy's numbers aren't too far off from Wieters. Also a major conference player. What's cracking me up is that the same guys who are bashing Vitters over Wieters because they want the "safe" college pick at a premium position are bashing not taking Burgess, who is a big reward/risk guy.

 

At this point, I think anything the Cubs do will be bashed. I'll be honest. I'm getting tired of it.

He's a college C with a good BB/K ratio, I fail to see how that doesn't fit.

But, then again, I would have really preferred a super stud SS in the draft that fell to #3. Doesn't sound like there is one this year, however.
