Chiefs Defense was horrid, they played a lot worse that the 3 errors they were charged with. Johnston had a particularly rough day, including over running third after he tagged up on a fly ball.

Yusuf has a cannon arm, threw a guy out at home.

Chiefs and Beloit almost came to blows twice, I'm not quite sure what it was all about.

Both Papelbon and Platt looked real good out of the pen.

Mitch Atkins was ok: 6 IP, 3 ER, 11 H, 1 K/1 BB, 1 HBP.

The only run given up by the pen was a homerun off of Petrick in his second inning of work.

Veal didn't have it today. His stuff looked ok, but he was wild in and out of the zone. He was sitting between 90-92 with his FB.

Rasin,

Petrick was throwing well. Except for the homer, he looked pretty good.

I was very impressed with Dan Smith of the Braves.

Some pictures will be forthcoming. My wife is yelling at me for allowing Addison to get so sunburned. Be back in a sec.

Today was Addison's third birthday, so many of the Smokies wanted to be photoed with the birthday girl.

Dipping Dots are yummy...especially if they're rainbow Dipping Dots.

And this is why I missed the Smokies rallying to take the lead.

Dude, I don't know if the players are just used to taking pictures or what, but I swear I had to keep looking at Addison to make sure those double pictures weren't the exact same picture.

I'm looking forward to watching Sean pitch tomorrow night. Of the pitchers I have seen on both teams, Holliman was the most impressive, followed by Dan Smith and Matt Harrison of the Braves. I'll see Gallagher go tomorrow, but I missed JoJo Reyes of the Braves on Friday, and I hear he's pretty good.

JC Holt of the Braves is a Ryan Theriot clone.

Oh...and Jake Fox can hit. I think his bat maybe major league ready right now.
