Another favorite crucifixion victim of this board got promoted yesterday:

 

Washington Nationals granted hitting coach Mitchell Page a leave of absence; named Lenny Harris interim hitting coach.

 

 

Nice to see Lenny doing well after the rough stretch he had. Hopefully he has a career akin to Manny Mota.

There's a reason that the Nationals are last in the league and just won their TENTH game. This is one of them.

 

Its Lenny Harris' fault? Come on.

 

His ML performance really has no bearing on whether he can be a good hitting coach or not.

They're promoting a guy who is really from the Dusty Baker school of thought where being overly agressive is good.

I'm still not convinced Jim Bowden didn't hire Lenny Harris just to keep him close to the team so that he can be added to the 40 man roster in September for the pennant race.
